The professional holiday for those working in Ukraine’s energy and electro-technical industry was established by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR dated May 23, 1966 in honour to adoption of the State Plan of Electrification of Russia at the VIII All-Russian Congress of Soviets in 1920.

By the Decree of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko “On Decoration of Workers of Ukraine’s Energy Industry with State Awards” (December 19, 2008), KRAVCHENKO Nikolay Vladimirovich, director of SVS-Dnepr CJSC, was awarded the title of the HONOURABLE POWER ENGINEER OF UKRAINE.

On February 26, 2009, the International Exhibition Centre (15, Brovarsky Avenue, Kyiv) hosted the “Real Estate & Construction 2009” VII Kyiv conference under the auspices of the Dobra Novyna Company, the organizer of the XI Real Estate 2009 specialized exhibition. The conference discussion topic: “Prospects of development of Ukraine’s real estate and construction markets under the financial instability conditions”.
